Flush with Frustration

Bad manners, poor judgement and an obsession with our cell phones has inspired a generation of bathroom babblers who are causing a commotion from the one place we expect our privacy to remain, well, private.  Maybe it's time to stop "stalling" and do something about this cringeworthy communication trend.

It was after my third Zoom meeting of the day when it hit me -- virtual communication is definitely efficient -- but it's also exhausting! The way in which we communicate is quickly evolving, but maybe we need to step back and rethink the ways in which we are doing it.

The After-Shocks of After-College Life

Published many years ago, (Has it really been that long?) The After-College Guide to Life was inspired by the eye-opening discovery that a college diploma doesn't prepare you for all that life throws your way. Written collaboratively with a friend and former roommate, the book addressed the many issues facing naive college grads. As one Baltimore Sun reporter noted at the time, this book is "a common-sense guide for the recently graduated as they float back down to hard reality."
